Been exploring the neighborhood trails recently. I've never been a big walker, unless the destination is breakfast or a picnic at the park. But last week, I found a new activity to keep me motivated and my mind preoccupied -- keeping a look-out for interesting things to add to my growing "prop library". I have my dad to thank for the genes (of curiosity) and for the idea. It all started when we were visiting my grandpa at the cemetery where he picked up the first pine cone and brought it home with us. Two days later, after a morning walk, he came home with another one of a different shape and color, and was telling me about how good it smelled, but to be careful of the sap that was oozing out of the top. A pile started to grow so I thought why not keep adding to it? And so on our next walk, we did.
